Mission Statement
CDN-NDG political party announces mission statement: A better quality of life through community engagement. Team CDN-NDG is a political party created to advance the interests of Côte-des-Neiges—Notre-Dame-de-Grâce, the most populous borough in the city. The party’s main objective is to improve quality of life for residents of the borough. To do so the council will need to improve borough financing and finally address systemic underfunding of CDN-NDG by the central city. To achieve these goals Team CDN-NDG will implement systematic community engagement methods.
Projects will be prioritized and developed based on input proactively obtained from the people who live in CDN-NDG. This approach to municipal governance will, improve transparency and prioritize spending to serve community needs rather than political gain. Alexander Montagano, leader of the party states “it is our hope that the residents of CDN-NDG can turn the page after years of conflict and corruption and focus on the essential tasks of running a borough”.
